The woodlands on the Sandon and Norton Estates extend to almost 800 acres. They are actively managed by a full time forestry team. There is a wide range of mixed plantations including Spruce and Larch together with hardwood such as Beech, Oak and Ash. The Woodlands are in a Forestry Commission Woodland Grant Scheme.

The Sandon Estate has a busy Sawmill selling products to the general public including green oak products and firewood.
